In order to filter a Timeline, you first need to be on the Timeline screen. You can navigate there by clicking on Reports > Timeline in the left side menu or by selecting Timeline on the Action Bar on the Points screen.
Click "Download" in the top right corner to download a CSV of the Timeline you're viewing. Your filters and timeframe will be reflected on the CSV.
