Offer a Digital Reward in Your Class Store

Add Style your avatar or Pick your point sound to your class store, and choose how long students keep it.

Written by Laura Litton

Digital rewards unlock right in LiveSchool, so there's nothing to hand out. Teachers can add two of them to their own class store: Style your avatar (hats, sunglasses and frames) and Pick your point sound.

Add a Digital Reward

Who can do this: Teachers, in their class store (Rewards > My Store).

  1. In the category you'd like to use, click New Reward.

  2. Click Digital reward.

  3. Choose a reward: Style your avatar or Pick your point sound.

  4. Enter how many points the reward costs.

  5. Under Lasts for, choose how long students keep the reward after they buy it.

  6. Click Save.

Students can now buy the reward from your class store.

Style your avatar

  • Students add hats, sunglasses and frames to their avatar (or photo).

  • A style bought from your class store shows only in your class.

  • While the pass is on, students can change their style as often as they like for free. Buying it again adds more time.

  • Lasts for is 1 week by default. You can change it or choose No time limit.

  • Your school needs photos or avatars turned on first. If the tile is grayed out, ask an Administrator or Site Leader to turn on Photos & avatars in Points > Settings.

Pick your point sound

  • Students pick the sound that plays every time they earn a point.

  • Choose which sounds students can pick from under Available sounds.

  • Lasts for is 1 week by default, and can be set from 1 to 99 days, weeks or months. After that, their points play the usual sound again.

How Long Should It Last?

The time starts when the student buys the reward. A reward set to 52 weeks lasts into next school year, so pick a shorter time if you'd like it to end in June.
