Deleting / Archiving Behaviors and Rewards

How to delete or archive Behaviors from your Rubric and Rewards from your menu, and what happens to your site's data.

Keeping your Behavior Rubric and Rewards Menu up to date helps teachers, students, and families use LiveSchool smoothly. Before making changes, it’s important to know how deleting Behaviors and Rewards affects your data and store management.

Important Note About Deleting Rewards

If you delete a Reward that students have already purchased, it will also disappear from the Fulfillment tab. That means you’ll lose visibility into any unfulfilled orders tied to that Reward.


We strongly recommend not deleting any Rewards until you’ve confirmed there are no outstanding orders that still need to be fulfilled.


If you need to remove something temporarily, archiving is the safer option.


Deleting Behaviors from Your Behavior Rubric

How to Delete a Behavior

  1. Go to Setup.

  2. Scroll to Edit Behavior Rubric.

    Click on the Edit Behavior Rubric option.
  3. On the Edit Rubric screen, click the red X next to the Category or Behavior you’d like to delete.

    Click the red x on the Edit Rubric screen.

What Happens to Your Data

  • Students won't lose any points when a Behavior or Category is deleted.

  • Deleted Behaviors still show their original name in:

    • Timeline

    • Points Logs

    • Recaps

    • Printables

  • Deleted Behaviors will appear as “Deleted Item” on all Dashboards.

  • Deleted Behaviors won’t appear on the Behavior Scoreboard.

  • Deleted Behaviors won’t be filterable in Timeline or Scoreboards.

  • If all Behaviors are deleted, you’ll need to add new ones before logging out. A blank rubric prevents you from signing back into LiveSchool.


Deleting or Archiving Rewards in Your Rewards Menu

How to Access Your Rewards Menu

  1. Go to Setup.

  2. Scroll to Edit Rewards Store.

    Click on "Edit Rewards Store".

Deleting a Reward

You can delete a Reward by clicking the red X next to it.

Click on the red x to delete a Reward.

Before deleting, please be aware:

Important Data & Fulfillment Changes

  • Students won’t get points back for deleted Rewards.

  • Deleted Rewards still show their original name in:

    • Timeline

    • Points Logs

    • Recaps

    • Printables

  • Deleted Rewards appear as “Deleted Item” on all Dashboards.

  • Deleted Rewards won’t appear on the Rewards Scoreboard.

  • Deleted Rewards won’t be filterable in the Timeline.

  • If a student has already purchased the Reward, deleting it will also remove it from the Fulfillment tab. You’ll lose visibility into any unfulfilled orders, so only delete a Reward after you’ve confirmed there are no outstanding student purchases.


Archiving a Reward (Recommended)

Archiving keeps the reward visible in your data but removes it from student purchase options.

How to Archive

  1. Click the Reward.

  2. Check the Archive box at the bottom.

    Click the archive box to archive the Reward.
  3. Click Save.

Benefits of Archiving

  • The Reward is still included in all reports and views.

  • Students can no longer purchase it.

  • Past purchases remain visible in the Fulfillment tab.

  • Your data stays clean and complete.

Viewing Archived Rewards

  • Click the Archived tab on your Edit Store screen.

Unarchiving a Reward

If you want to make it available again, uncheck the Archive box and click Save.
