If your school or district uses one of these platforms, you’ll benefit from automatic updates and single sign-on (SSO) access.

What is Clever?

Clever is a dashboard that provides you and your students with access to all your school-approved apps through a single login. Districts use Clever to manage access to learning tools securely and efficiently.

How does Clever work with LiveSchool?

  • Your district shares data with LiveSchool through Clever.

  • Once the connection is approved, your students' and rosters' information will sync automatically.

  • Teachers and students can log into LiveSchool through Clever.com using their school credentials.

If you’re a new user, setup may take a little time, especially if your district requires a data-sharing agreement or formal request. Check with your district tech team to learn more about their process.

What is ClassLink?

ClassLink is another single sign-on and rostering tool used by many schools and districts. Like Clever, it provides students and staff with access to all approved digital tools from a single location.

How does ClassLink work with LiveSchool?

  • Your district shares access to its Roster Server with LiveSchool.

  • Once that’s done, your student and staff data syncs automatically.

  • Teachers and students can log in through ClassLink LaunchPad using their school credentials.

Are you unsure who handles ClassLink in your district? Reach out to your IT team; they can confirm whether the Roster Server has been shared.

What does this mean for you?

Whether your school uses Clever or ClassLink:

✅ Your class rosters will stay up-to-date automatically
✅ No manual data entry required
✅ Teachers and students can log in with their existing school credentials
✅ Data security is managed by your district
