Step 1: Locate and Add the LiveSchool App in ClassLink
Log in to your ClassLink Roster Server.
Navigate to the Apps section.
Click "All Apps" to view all available apps.
Search for “LiveSchool Roster Data.”
Click Add next to the app to begin setting up the data sharing connection.
Step 2: Set Data Sharing Permissions
After adding the LiveSchool Roster Data app, you’ll be prompted to define your sharing rules. You have two main options:
Full Permissions: Share all roster data with LiveSchool.
Rule-Based Permissions: Customize exactly what you share.
To Create Rule-Based Permissions:
Click “Add Rule.”
Choose “New Rule” and give it a clear name (e.g., "Share Schools Rule").
Under Permissions, we recommend specifying data by building (i.e., school) and choosing the school(s) using LiveSchool:
Once your selections are complete, click Save.
Step 3: Enable Data Sharing
By default, sharing is disabled after the app is added. To enable it:
Go back to your Apps list.
Locate LiveSchool Roster Data.
Click on the app settings and select 'Enable' to begin sharing data.
