The ID Scan feature in LiveSchool enables teachers and students to streamline Point tracking and accessibility through QR badge or Barcode scanning. Each student receives a unique QR badge or Barcode that serves as their passport to LiveSchool data, allowing for faster Point awards and Rewards redemption, especially when working with students who aren't on your typical Roster.
Accessing QR Badges or Barcodes to Print
From either the left-hand menu, select Students & Families and then ID Badges. Once there, customize your ID Badges and Print.
Utilizing ID Badges
On either the Points screen or the Rewards screen, simply click "Scan" in the top right corner.
Once you click Scan, the camera option will open, along with three methods of scanning:
For quick adherence to an agenda, planner, or ID we suggest you print on labels.
Print the PDF produced in the download. For longer-lasting QR Badges, we suggest printing on cardstock paper and laminating, but office paper works as well!
For full-size badges, like the kind that would fit on an ID card use the following settings:
Paper Size = Letter
Pages Per Sheet = 1
Scale = Default
Print on Both Sides = Off
To save paper and print more QR Badges on a page, use the following settings:
Paper Size = Letter
Pages Per Sheet = 2
Scale = Default
