Once you're recording points, these shortcuts help you work faster. Watch the quick video below, or follow the written steps under it.

Switch between your classes

  • Click the roster name in the top-left corner.

  • Choose the class you want. You can also pick a grade level or another teacher's roster.

Award several students at once

  • Tap each student you want to recognize, or click "Select All" on the bottom Action Bar to choose the whole class.

  • Uncheck anyone it doesn't apply to. You can also click "Deselect" to start over.

  • Click Continue, tap the behavior(s), then click Submit.

Add and save a comment

  • After you click Continue, click "Comment" in the Action Bar.

  • Type your note. Students and families can see it if your school uses the LiveSchool Next app.

  • Check the box to save the comment, so you can add it in one tap next time.

Record a point for an earlier time

  • On the rubric screen, click the calendar icon or clock icon in the Action Bar.

  • Set the date and time, then submit as usual. The point appears in the Timeline and reports as if it happened then.

Review or undo a point

  • Click "Timeline" in the Action Bar, or open a student and select their Timeline, to see recent points.

  • To undo a point you awarded, tap the red X next to it.
