Student photos appear on the Points screen and on your Hall Pass dashboard, so staff can put a name to a face:

Turn photos on
Go to Setup > Student Photos. If you see Student photos are turned off, click the button on that card to turn them on.
The setting lives in Points > Settings if you ever need to turn it back off:
Add photos
On Setup > Student Photos, use the Add Photos box. Drag photos in, or press to browse.
Accepted formats are JPG, PNG, WebP, or a .zip of photos.
Upload a photo vendor zip
If your school uses a photo vendor like LifeTouch, upload the .zip exactly as they sent it. LiveSchool reads the names and IDs inside and matches photos to your students for you.
After the upload, you will see a short review screen:
Matched on a school ID. These matched on an ID your school issued, so they are safe to attach.
Matched on name. These are a best guess, matched on a unique name within a grade. LiveSchool shows you a few faces so you can confirm the matching looks right. Click Review all to see every one.
Staff photos in the file are skipped automatically.
If the zip will not open, you will see "We could not read that zip. Upload the .zip exactly as your photo vendor sent it." If your vendor put the photos in a shared drive instead of a zip, select the photos, right click, and compress them into a new zip. That uploads as a pile of photos, and you link them in the next step.
Link leftover photos
Any photo that did not match a student waits in a tray asking Whose photo is this? Search the student's name and link it. You can replace a photo the same way.
Check your coverage
The Students with Photos gauge shows how far along you are, for example "312 of 400 students have photos."
Let teachers show or hide photos
Once photos are on for your school, each teacher decides whether to show them on their own Points screen. In Points, open the display options and tick Show Student photos, with initials for anyone without one:
This is a per-teacher choice on their own device, so younger grades can show faces while older grades keep initials.
