When purchasing LiveSchool, the subscription cost is based on the number of user licenses purchased. Sites using Clever or ClassLink are often managed by the district, which can result in extra users appearing in your LiveSchool site. As a Site Leader, you can control who uses a purchased license by disabling a person’s access in LiveSchool.

How to Remove A User's Access

Requirement: You must have Site Leader permission to complete this action.

  1. Click Setup

  2. Select Users

  3. Click Manage Licenses (located above the user table)

  4. Locate the “Has License?” column and click the toggle next to the user’s name to set it to OFF (gray).

  5. Click Back (in the bottom-left corner)

The user's row will now appear gray in the user table, and the Last Login column will display "No License."

Users with a disabled license will no longer appear on the Teacher Scoreboard or when searching for the user throughout the app.

Points awarded or rewards purchased by the user will still show in Timeline and will show the user's name.

If the user attempts to log in, they will see the following message:

How to Enable A User's Access

To restore a user's access, follow the same steps above, and click the toggle in the "Has License?" column to set it to ON (blue).
