You do not need to delete Houses to run a new competition. To reset the standings and keep everything else in place, set a new Competition Start Date instead.
Deleting Houses removes every House at your school along with its configuration: the House names, colors, and which students belong to which House. Student Points are not deleted, but we still suggest that before deleting, it is worth downloading a House List so you have a record of who was in which House.
Go to House Points > Settings
Scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom of the page
Click Delete All Houses
Confirm when prompted
Once that's done, you can set up Houses again whenever you're ready.
