Deleting Houses isn't necessary to start a new competition. Deleting Houses will allow you to select alternative Houses to display on your House Points Dashboard. This will not affect any Points that students have earned.
Go to House Points
Click Options
Click Delete Houses
Confirm you'd like to reset House Points. You can then create new houses and start a new competition.
