What Is LiveSchool?

LiveSchool helps schools build a positive culture by awarding students points for great choices. Families and students can log in to see those points, track progress, and celebrate success together.

Step 1: Introduce LiveSchool to Students

Start by helping students understand what LiveSchool is and how it works.

Step 2: Introduce LiveSchool to Families

Provide families with a clear understanding of what LiveSchool is and how they can stay engaged.

Step 3: Share Access Codes with Families

Each student and family member needs a unique code to log in to LiveSchool (unless you prefer them to scan a QR code instead).

  • Print Access Sheets for each student:

    • Go to your Roster

    • Click the three dots menu in the Roster Picker

    • Select “Print Access Sheets” to download a PDF

  • Need a preview? Use our Sample Access Sheet to explain how it works without sharing real codes.

Step 4: Help Families and Students Log In

Once they have their codes:

🔑 They'll be prompted to:

  • Enter their code

  • Set an email and password to finish account setup

Step 5: Update Weekly Recap Email Delivery Dates

Make it easier for families to stay informed.

  • Confirm Recap Delivery Date so students and families get a weekly email with:

    • Points earned

    • Recent behavior

    • Store updates

Each email includes a Magic Link, so there's no need to log in.

What Families and Students Can See in LiveSchool

Once logged in, they’ll have access to:

  • 📈 Points Balance (updates in real time)

  • 🕒 Timeline with a weekly breakdown of points and comments

  • 🛍️ Store with item descriptions and prices
